The Good, The Bad and the Ugly can ban your Adsense account
Did you watch the old movie in sixties? I’m sure most of you watched it but no one couldn’t predict that those guys will move from the western to the net world. Well, we can say that it is the new version of the movie but in the internet world.
Do you have Google adsense account? Are you working hard to earn a decent income from it? So the first thing you should care of is to keep an eye on those guys because they may harm you and lead google to ban your account!!
The good guy may want to help you to generate more clicks to increase your profits. This good guy may be a close friend or one of your company staff or one of your relatives…They are doing that with good intentions…but with Google, good intentions will not prevent them to close your account.
The bad guy is the one who intentionally generates many clicks from ads on your website to get you banned. Google tracks clicks activities and defines the invalid clicks. So if someone wants to hurt you, he simply can generate such harmful activities.
The ugly is the one who offers you a way to get clicks by using ideas such : click exchange or as google says: “ These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, “
Well how can you save your back from such guys? The answer is simple.
You have to track your adsense units and links by using channels. If you noticed unusual activity on a channel that you are not promoting that much…or you noticed that the CTR is abnormal like 90% or 100%, you have to worry but wait don’t contact google…You will need to see your tracking report of your pages. You already should have tracking script or advanced counter that can show where the traffic is coming from and IP addresses. If you see the same IP address used on the pages that contain the Adsense channels which generate unusal clicks, you have to contact Google adsense support immediately. Don’t be afraid, they will help you. They will not close your account.
