Thanks for your kind comment, David
As you said "You do social marketing for your company" this means that you gained reasonable experience in this field, and as an advanced marketer you might not find some of these info new to you. But there are still many other online marketers who still struggle and eager to find some useful information to help them in their social marketing campaign.

Our mission is to provide all the "New Born Businesses" with some valuable information and simple for them to understand at the same time. the tips in this article were helpful enough to receive praise of beginners marketers.

Hi There

I do social marketing for my company (Soluto) and I have to say that this article is well written and very informative (although rife with poor english which is completely forgivable). Even though not much of what was written here looked new to me, its always nice to have your own thoughts reinforced by someone sharing similar ones. Thanks and keep up the good work.

By the way, was the endless list of social bookmarking sites at the bottom of the post put their on purpose or do all these links show up on every post? Looks like a case of PCDisorder to me.

For a very long time I only used search engines to build my traffic. Then I started hearing about things like DIGG. First I thought who on earth has the time to play around on these type of sites.

It was only when I saw my wife sitting for hours in front of the computer (in the past she only played a game or two of solitaire) that I started taking serious notice.

Social bookmarking is here to stay but I'm so grateful for the tips on going about it. Being a marketer I stepped in most of the pitfalls you describe above. Luckily I'm getting better at it...
