All owners of online businesses, we always dig for new promoting method.
Recently , Google gives a great push to its Google Docs. It is still in beta but it is full of features. Google Docs is free and available when you set up an Google account.
Google Docs is obviously the first tool in the genre. There were some attempts from other competitors to release such tool but Google is always the leaders.
Google Docs allows for sharing of a file or files by checking the checkbox next to them and clicking “share” from the menu. Those you are sharing with can be invited as “Collaborators” or “Viewers.”. You can add a short note along with the invitation. Google Docs is web-based word processor and spreadsheet application.
Google Docs offers great place for not only creating your documents, presentations or spreadsheets but also for maintaining backups of your documents. You will never have to worry about how you will replace your locally destroyed documents again.
Now, you may ask how can I use this system to promote a business? The answer is “Sharing”. Sharing is the secret word. The possibility to share your docs, or presentations to the world can be a rich source of traffic . With Google Docs, you can’t predict the results of posting your content to the public. Google , who gets more than 137 million visitors monthly from US only, can popularize your business.
All what you need is to post a content that can be related to your website. Keeping posting will have two benefits : First brings direct traffic , Second generating important back links that can increase the page rank of your site.
All business owners should consider trying Google Docs. And I welcome your postings about this topic.

Customer Relationship Management or “CRM” is very important and is considered all the buzz in marketing, simply because Managing customer relations can lead to increased profits for a business. From this point, an important marketing technique emerged “Database Marketing”, which is a powerful and competitive weapon – especially on the Internet.
Database Marketing “DBM” is an interactive approach to marketing communication, which uses addressable communications media (mail, email, telephone, fax, etc.) to reach the target audience. DBM helps to communicate directly with the customers providing all the means for the customers or prospects to respond. It is a way of making people happy, improving all the future contacts, and is set up to measure and fulfill the response. In a nutshell, It is used to move customers up the ladder.
The growth of Database Marketing is rooted in the small business philosophy of staying close to the customers, under-standing and meeting their needs, and treating them well before and after the sale.
If you own a business deals with a wide customer base that has a degree of homogeneity, it will worth considering a Database Marketing. Unlike many other marketing techniques, Database Marketing, isn’t fit for every small business. Companies that use database marketing spend time and effort in gathering, organizing and analyzing customer data on a continuous basis.
“DBM” presents many challenges to management as it requires careful maintenance of great volumes of detailed customer data. Also accessing the data, interpreting it, and using it to drive or support the marketing function requires a long-term marketing systems development policy.
The power of database marketing lies in its ability to target individual or groups of customers with messages specifically tailored to their needs. But “DBM” must be used the right way; Database Marketers must be careful not to violate any laws while launching their campaigns. Issues regarding privacy of information and solicitation of business have come under regulatory action and should be taken into considerations.

In a strange phenomenon that emerged few days ago, Digg started to disable a large number of Top Diggers’ Accounts without any previous warnings or even emails letting diggers know of the new changes to the terms of service so that they might have the opportunity to adjust to their rules.
Many active diggers tried to log in to their accounts several times, but they always got the message “Your account has been disabled permanently”. They didn’t stick to that and even emailed Digg Support Team to apologies, but they again got a harsh reply that “This decision is final and irreversible”. Digg just shut users down and banned their accounts for life.
It’s probably not fair to compare the way Digg enforces its rules to any real justice system. There have been about 500-600 accounts banned from Digg lately and I’m sure that now you are asking yourself “What are the unforgivable crimes, which those diggers committed and lead Digg to ban their accounts?”.
“Don’t Use Scripts” These were the last words said by the late banned diggers. Digg claimed that the excessive use of Scripts/bots, like the Greasemonkey Script that facilitate digging friends submissions, places additional load on Digg servers (slowing things down for everyone), so using them is a violation to Digg’s Terms of Use and will result in losing access to your Digg account.
“No Blind Digging” Also some of banned power diggers spoke about, Massive Digg ban, quick inspection of their 48 hours activity shows that they had high level of activity, more than 300 diggs, some of them even reached more than 1000 diggs. This lead to get their accounts banned as well.
Digg will pay the price as well; All of these things proof that Digg’s (Anti-Cheat) system has become more sophisticated trying to protest against all Cheating Policies. Digg is now applying the rule “You cheat, you’re out” even if this will cause them to lose a large number of traffic and users’ activities.
Go in Peace late diggers… It is bye bye time!
Digg users not only got their accounts banned, but also lost many of their friends. They spent significant time and energy providing the site with content, building their reputation online and flourishing their accounts to be active members, and then they were shocked that every thing have been vanished and they have no choice except accepting the whole reality and registering a new account from scratch.

Last week , YouTube updated its guidelines by adding 3 simple points as follows:
- Don’t post videos showing bad stuff like animal abuse, drug abuse, or bomb making.
- Graphic or gratuitous violence is not allowed. If your video shows someone getting hurt, attacked, or humiliated, don’t post it.
- YouTube is not a shock site. Don’t post gross-out videos of accidents, dead bodies and similar things.
Simple, aren’t they? But no one couldn’t predict the consequences of such update .
If you didn’t follow the story from the beginning, please read the following.
About 4 months ago , Senator Joseph Lieberman asked Google inc to block all videos that are posted on YouTube which encourage violence by depicting assassinations, death of US soldiers, as well as weapon training and speeches. YouTube responded after 4 months to these demands. But it seems that their new guidelines were not approved by netizens .
The first and strong reaction by some people was deleting their accounts at YouTube, why? Because they say that this measurement is considered as imposing censorship on their freedom. How they live in the land of liberty and their freedom is taken. They simply left YouTube.
Some others go further to see that these terms are limiting their freedom of speech and thoughts. And they are angry.
Another group acted like explainers, they make the simple terms more difficult by expanding the terms to include any funny videos that people hurt in them or movie trailers that show actions or martial arts….
I think people are sensitive about authority and politics. They didn’t want the action of “Big Brother” and that’s why they are angry although YouTube already uses these rules from the early beginning of their online existence. They already deleted many videos before that were not complied with their terms…but the new change is that they give in to a politician demand and they declare that to the public. A big Mistake.
Yes, it is a big mistake that may cost them their business. And who knows How much YouTube may lose? I noticed that people are going to make a replacement for YouTube . People are searching for another media that make them feel free. If this angry reaction grows, it will drain YouTube from its value. Because what distinguishes Youtube from other video sharing sites is that it is the leading and the most popular site. Now, they give the opportunity to other compititors to cut a huge piece from their market share.
Who can imagine that these simple terms, which already used by YouTube all the time without announcing, will affect them after they post this update. It is a tough test for YouTube. And more consequences may appear in the next days.

We tackled a little while ago the changes that may happen to StumbleUpon and the way friends and subscribers would change in a previous post. Now it becomes a reality; SU launched its new changes that has been a while in the making. Stumbleupon, finally, improved the way you can make Friends or follow another member’s Stumbles.
Yesterday, SU presented a nice surprise to all its members. You can now friend over 200 people on Stumble, know your subscribers and subscribe to people with interesting stumbles, enjoy the new look of adding friends feature, know the percentage of every user who match your interests, as well as get a notification message to let you know that someone has requested your friendship and you are free to accept or ignore his/her friendship.
All these changes seem interesting and worth a try, but the question now is that “Are SU changes still a mystery, despite the official release?” Will they cause unpredictable revolution in SU community?
we may find some stumblers who will use the new service to enhance the stumbles they get from their subscribers by subscribing to other stumblers’ favorites, who really introduce something valuable and related to their interests. At the same time we may find some stumblers who will use the new service to add an endless number of friends to their list just to enlarge their friends circle and become able to share their own posts and business with larger number of stumblers, without caring whether they will get some useful stumbles from their friends (subscribers) or not!
In our previous post “Will The Removal of SU 200 Friends Limit Really Work?”, we were just predicting the future and wanted to know your opinions, whether this new feature will add something to SU or not. But now, after being launched officially and becoming a fact, what do you think about the new feature? Can it benefit you by any means? Do you now enjoy something different while stumbling? Or would you prefer to restore the old system again, and just deal with your limited number of friends? All of these questions really need some answers.

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money; the ability to create matchless income with affiliate marketing can not only be a great way to succeed in your business, but also a major way to find yourself at the mercy of scam artists. If you are an affiliate and worried about being scammed by a publisher or network, then it’s better to continue reading…
There are many affiliate marketing guides out there that are simply scams and have a lot of hype surrounding them. They are targeted towards affiliate marketers who are desperate to find a way to sell their affiliate products and save their failing campaigns.
You should be aware of the fact that Affiliate Marketing is a business and it needs to be treated like a real business in order to be successful in the long run. Most guides that are scams are those that promise you to start making money the first day you put their techniques to use.
One of the most popular affiliate marketing scams is Pay for Membership Affiliate Offers; Never pay to join an affiliate network. If an affiliate program requires a “Fee” to join, you should simply stay away. Start up fee at registration, is not only unnecessary, it is also a bad sign of things to come from the network.
It is always good to find affiliate programs that pay high commissions. But you will have to take note that there will be some marketers who will just offer high commissions in order to only have their thrash products promoted, as a result your credibility will be spoilt and loose your business.
Beware and become sure that if you set up your affiliate marketing business as a true business and work to make it grow by using good business strategies rather than relying on schemes, the potential for your business to profit will increase. Try to do some researches before you take your first step into Affiliate Marketing, this will prevent you from wasting your time and your money joining affiliate program scams. You can also join some forums and networks involving work from home boards where you can meet others in affiliate marketing and learn from them. Make sure to read everything and don’t be afraid to ask questions about any affiliate program you may consider joining.

After competing with Web Browsers’ rivals, Google is now managing to conquer another universe and continues clobbering competitors. Just ten months after Google first announced the creation of its Android open source mobile phone platform, T-Mobile will unveil the world’s first Android-powered phone next week.
Traditional cell-phone makers like Nokia and Motorola are about to face a potentially big threat in mobile market. The open-source Android system is seen as Google’s answer to Apple’s successful iPhone and as a key initiative in the internet giant’s quest to extend its dominance to the mobile web.
The idea behind Android platform, Google says, is to spur innovation in developing mobile applications that will give users the same experience surfing the Web on their phone as they have on their desktop computers. They hope the Android platform will drive even more mobile Web surfing than the iPhone, which has helped mobile Internet use rocket in comparison with other smart phones.
The first gPhone will be triple-badged, carrying Google, T-Mobile and HTC logos. Google has worked closely with US carrier T-mobile and Taiwan electronics maker HTC to develop the new phone, which features a slide-out keypad and to be called Dream. Google made a contest to encourage software development companies to develop innovative and useful applications for the platform. The application contest winners can help users do everything from calling their nearest taxi cabs to comparing sale prices at different stores to calculating their carbon footprint.

Every online marketer who runs a blog must have noticed that Search Engines always look for unique content that is not available from other sources; they search for exclusive, specific or rare content. SEO may be more important on a blog than on a traditional website because of the fact that blogs get indexed quickly.
Therefore Search Engines consider blogs, which present personal review or personal opinion about certain subject (Unique Content) and continually refresh material, as their best friends.
The beautiful thing about blogging is that your content does not have to be long or elaborate in order to get across a unique, point or piece of information that will impress the search engine. You are not forced at all to provide long and detailed posts and as a result duplicate or repeat what you read in other posts. Duplicating other posts can lead search engine spiders not to rank your pages high when they notice that they read something identical, like what you are presenting, before.
The replies (Comments) you can get on your blog posts can work as an amazing renewable resource of content for search engines, this can also help promoting your search engine ranking position (SERP).
Another great thing about blogs is that they are of a viral nature. they can be distributed for free through an RSS, Atom or XML feed that allow readers to always be up to date with what is new in your blog.
Finally, you should always know your goals and focus on them. Remember that the more focused your goals are the more unique your blog content is likely to be, and the more search engines friendly it will be.

Online business owners expect more from their business everyday; they always think “How To get more Success with less Effort”. For sure it is their legitimate right to manage for their business evolution and to dream with their success, but the question now is “How to succeed in your business and still get 8 hours of sleep everyday?”
The answer is simple, “Go Viral”.
There is perhaps no more powerful method of doing online marketing than that of viral marketing. Viral Marketing has proven its effectiveness in online marketing. The idea that one person can share your product or service (which contains numerous links and referrals to your website, business, or affiliate links) with many people, who in turn, give it to many other people and so on down the line, enriches the importance of Viral Marketing and encourages many online entrepreneurs to apply it to their marketing campaigns.
Viral Marketing gets the term viral because it is supposed to spread just like a virus spreads. The fact is that when you use proper viral marketing techniques, you don’t need to put in as much time or effort to run your business by yourself. Once you have it set, you can then watch it work almost as if it was being run by itself. The best viral marketing will create Internet buzz, with your marketed product or service at its center.
A little time spent upfront can be a huge savings later; Viral Marketing is becoming a hot topic amongst internet marketers. It is a very powerful means of advertising and it is especially useful for those who have very limited advertising resources and a slim budget with which to advertise. With the way the web is growing and the expanding of Social Networks, Viral Marketing is becoming easier and easier to do. In a nutshell it is a very simple way to “Automate your Business”.
