June 26, 2008 By: Mohamed Elmasry Category: Promote Your Business 9 Comments →

You may read the title and want to know the answer about it. The answer is simply because my marketing campaign is targeting women!

Don’t be shocked , just continue reading.

As catalyst Org states that “Women’s buying power is 76% of The total buying power. That due to the fact that women’s personal shopping is merged in the total household spending. Women are not only shopping for themselves , they also shop for their kids, husbands and household stuff.

So these facts can’t be ignored. The shopping decisions for most of products is in the hand of this buying power. So if you want to spread your product to a wider range of potential customers, you should mention the benefits of your product to this audience.

In your marketing campaign, you can address women and mention the direct benefits that they can enjoy if they buy this product even if it is not for them. How?

For example, if you sell a product that can alleviate the stomach pain of new born babies. It is good for the babies, but it is also can be promoted as “a relief for the mother from the baby’s unreasonable cry “.

Also Men’s products can be promoted through women. I saw once a testimonial from a woman about a product for men that increases Semen . This product is promoted to men as it is bring more joy and increase manhood. But the woman was happy because this special product which originally sold for men helped her to be pregnant and they become happy family.

Do you catch the idea of using the buying power of Women?

Now there are some points you should consider when you target this buying power.

1- You should direct your campaign to attract women’s interest.

2- Women also need to know about you not only your product.

3- Women always want to feel that they buy from real person , not from computer.

4- Prepare yourself to be more patient and answer their questions about the product with more details.

5- Running special offer or considerable rebate is also more effective with women.

Tips on how to write a successful sales letter for your business

June 18, 2008 By: Newbornbusiness Category: Promote Your Business No Comments →

A successful sales letter can boost the number of curious consumers who are willing to give your product or services a try. It is a very important tool for reaching customers and prospects. That is why sales letter writing has been deemed to be a very important aspect in marketing.
Many entrepreneurs have observed the power of sales letter writing in capturing a significant portion of the market. As such, many businesspersons went their way on writing their own sales letters.
As you sit down to write a successful sales letter, it is always important to note the following in order to make the best one:

* Gain the trust of your customers not only their attention, show that you are credible; when your readers receive your mail, they should be able to put confidence in you so that they would feel safe to establish some business relations with you. You can put testimonials in sales letters to let people know of others who swear by your offerings.

* Make sure that you satisfy your customers’ needs. Approach writing a sales letter by making sure to remind yourself that you are speaking to people who are just like you, and long for concrete details and professionalism.

* The headline of your sales letter is very important; you should choose a persuasive one that will not let you stand to lose the interest of readers. Your initial goal is to create a readable headline. It is best to use a simple design, exaggeration of using artsy and elaborate fonts can weaken the appearance of your letter to be professional.

* After creating a headline that sells, then you have successfully directed readers to your opening paragraph, which needs to immediately capture the interest of your readers. You can start with a question or formulating a story to engage your audience.

* Using an interactive style, people will be more excited to finish the contents of the sales letter. Make the letter conversational in tone. Being too serious bores readers while being too informal does not make it sound credible. If you can make your sales letter memorable, chances are the reader would be able to remember your products when the time comes that they are needed.

* To be listened to you should be brief and concise, don’t lead your consumers on and on, people are getting tired of being linked from one page to the next because of so much unnecessary information. People are always in a hurry, they want to know what you have to offer and how it will help their lives.

* It is important for your readers to be informed what they should do next by giving them clear instructions on how they could respond to your sales letter. Be sure to include how they can contact you and make it easy and convenient for them by leaving a mailing address, email, website, fax, or phone number where they can reach you easily.

The success or failure of your product depends on your ability to sell it well. Without a high converting sales page, it will lose out in sales to other inferior products with better sales pages. You need a hyper responsive sales letter to have your sales promoted effectively.

Social Networks can really spread the words, so how can you deal with them?

June 16, 2008 By: Newbornbusiness Category: Social Marketing No Comments →

Social networks proved their effectiveness in online marketing different fields. Whether you are trying to promote certain product or a service, Social Networks will be the best method to cling to and start spreading the words about your business.
If you are an online marketer who tries to drive flows of traffic to your pages, you have to think about dealing with social networks and try to bookmark some of your posts from your own websites to the major social media websites.

You need to let the online community knows about your business, social networks give you the ability to communicate with an endless number of online users and share with them whatever you want depending on their interests, you should select the best online community that cope with the type of posts you will submit and determine your target users who will be interested in your posts, so that they will do the rest of the work for you, yeah believe it or not, they can do the rest of the work for you by promoting your submissions and share them with their friends.
But always remember that you will need to find the people who are really seeking what you present and will be eager to know about every thing you introduce.

Pay some attention for your friends; another thing to consider if you want your friends to share and spread your posts is that you have to do the same for them. Always make sure that you give something before you think to take, and ask the others to give you. It will work as an incentive for your friends to share your business because they know that you will do the same for them. But never stop here, you should always thank and praise them for the great help they offer you, simple and sweet words can do all the hard work.

Just do it, from now on never waste any time without making profit using social networks, every MINUTE counts. Never be afraid that you will not be welcomed, or you will be blocked by social networks. Online users are very sociable, but as I said before, you should always determine your target users and work for them.

Big Brother Is Watching You! The Party is now manipulating the Internet. Part II

June 13, 2008 By: M.Awara Category: Social Marketing No Comments →

As many of us know that the Big Brother (BB) in Orwell’s novel is just a symbol, which has been embodied by the party to make the public feel that they are always monitored and they must not to try to think of the party’s injustice rules or even try to protest. The controversial part here is that these rules were for the public and "only" the public! No member of the party followed these rules or even being asked to follow them, simply because they are a part of the party and have the authority and the ultimate power.

How could this be? This can’t be accepted by any reasonable mind at all.

The same case is here in the online society as well, and therefore, we are supposed to be asked a very important question that;

Does being old in the online world really means that you have made it all, and that you can’t be treated like any other marketer who is still doing his best to have his business listed in the map of the online business, in other words "You are a part of the party"?

Simple example that can prove the ultimate authority and power of the popular sites is the "Original Source" theory; let’s go into some details:

Social networks or any community websites that allow posting topics from other sites always have a rule that "all the posts submitted should refer to the Original Source of the stories and it is not allowed to post any stories from intermediate websites".

That is totally acceptable rule and me myself really appreciate, as it guarantee the protection of Intellectual Property. BUT it will be totally unfair to have this rule applied for some websites and ignored for others; applied for those who still building their business and try to introduce something valuable to the web community, and ignored for those who consider themselves the kings of the web, no matter what they are presenting, or whether it is useful or not.

Any post that is submitted from an old, highly ranked, and popular website is always accepted, even if they are not the original sources. And any post that is submitted from a newborn, still not ranked, and creative website is always rejected, even if they refer to some original sources in their stories. Have you ever asked yourself why? I think you should know!

The answer is simple; "The Party is manipulating the Internet, and they have the ultimate power to control the web".

Now you must have noticed that the Internet Society discards an important feature, which is "Neutrality", as if that being old and popular, means you have a green light to do anything (what ever you want to do), and you are excluded from the list of those who should obey the rules of the online community. Again "You are a part of the party".

Big Brother Is Watching You…The Party is now Manipulating the Internet!

June 09, 2008 By: M.Awara Category: Social Marketing 1 Comment →

Many of us read or heard about George Orwell’s novel "1984 "; it shows how the Party who has the ultimate power can manipulate all the Public who struggle to have a place in the society, and forces them to obey its unfair rules. May be some of you read this novel more than one time, so there is no need to give more details about the novel and let’s see how it really apply to our World Wide Web and how Orwell wasn’t only trying to tell a science fiction story, on the contrary, time has proved that he was predicting something that happened indeed, and foresaw what will the life look like after few years!
As these words may seem to be new to your ears, let’s clarify more;

Nowadays, becoming rich, popular, and achieving many revenues mean that you can simply control and manipulate the Web, especially in the world of Social Networks.
Popular websites don’t even spend a cent for marketing and let others know about them as there are thousands or even millions who do the whole work for them.
Have you ever thought about the matter this way? Have you ever asked yourself why only the websites who reached the peak of popularity gain the attention of online users and can’t be reported as SPAM, regardless of the number of posts that are submitted from them, even if they are promoting certain product or service which is the real SPAM for sure?

How many times did we read the word SPAM spreading all over the internet just because the resource of the content is not one of the (Party members) those websites on the top, in other words, in the safe side? For the internet society, the sites on the top can’t be treated like other websites which still struggle to book their tickets among the websites at the summit, even if they offer some high quality services and products.
This is not every thing; you can even find some other internet users who don’t want your site to succeed and try to fight you claiming that you are spamming the system or you are not presenting unique content, but the truth is that you still don’t have enough power to have your posts published without any troubles.

The internet world, like any other field, should be an open source for all entrepreneurs to build their own businesses, promote them, and making profits from the services or the products they present. If we stuck to the idea that becoming popular means that you did it all, and that you have the ultimate power to control the internet, we will never achieve any progress as there will be no competition and no efforts to enhance the business. There will be a lack of enthusiasm to create something unique that can benefit the whole humanity and is considered a new addition to the web, as every thing will be destined to be SPAM.

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly can ban your Adsense account

June 03, 2008 By: Mohamed Elmasry Category: Google Adsense 8 Comments →

Did you watch the old movie in sixties? I’m sure most of you watched it but no one couldn’t predict that those guys will move from the western to the net world. Well, we can say that it is the new version of the movie but in the internet world.

Do you have Google adsense account? Are you working hard to earn a decent income from it? So the first thing you should care of is to keep an eye on those guys because they may harm you and lead google to ban your account!!

The good guy may want to help you to generate more clicks to increase your profits. This good guy may be a close friend or one of your company staff or one of your relatives…They are doing that with good intentions…but with Google, good intentions will not prevent them to close your account.

The bad guy is the one who intentionally generates many clicks from ads on your website to get you banned. Google tracks clicks activities and defines the invalid clicks. So if someone wants to hurt you, he simply can generate such harmful activities.

The ugly is the one who offers you a way to get clicks by using ideas such : click exchange or as google says: “ These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs,

Well how can you save your back from such guys? The answer is simple.

You have to track your adsense units and links by using channels. If you noticed unusual activity on a channel that you are not promoting that much…or you noticed that the CTR is abnormal like 90% or 100%, you have to worry but wait don’t contact google…You will need to see your tracking report of your pages. You already should have tracking script or advanced counter that can show where the traffic is coming from and IP addresses. If you see the same IP address used on the pages that contain the Adsense channels which generate unusal clicks, you have to contact Google adsense support immediately. Don’t be afraid, they will help you. They will not close your account.

Dig, Fill and Digg it!

June 01, 2008 By: Mohamed Elmasry Category: Promote Your Business, Social Marketing No Comments →

The internet is a golden mine of data. It is a very rich source that you can dig to discover valuable information. If you are running a business, you will have to dig deeply in this world to find something that can make people interested in. This digging process should concentrate on the raw material which is not yet considered or becomes popular to the majority.

I have a rule for that “which is known for some people, can be a discovery for some others”.

This raw material or data can be used to generate many useful information. Now, the filling process is starting. Yes, you have to create unique information to fill an empty space in this cyber space. As long as there is continuous source of fresh data, there will be always an empty space to fill in this world. And to fill this space, you have to introduce unique content. You may ask how? It is simple, every one, has his own personality, experience, and point of view. If all these elements mixed with these data that will create a finger print which can’t be cloned.

After refining your content, you will be welcomed from many fresh content seekers to publish your content. You can start with Digg, nowpublic, propeller and many other communities where you will find many people that seek for invaluable information and eager to share their thoughts which in turn will refresh your mind and can be used as a new golden mine that you may start to dig!

Digging for valuable data, using it for filling unique content, then spreading it through communities and different media is an endless process that can be used to popularize your site. This is one of my marketing techniques which I’m glad to share with you.

Start promoting your website and feel free to comment about how were your previous experiences with social networking, if you have any. If you still new to website promoting techniques, you can share your opinion as well.
